A View of London
Primrose Hill’s Regent Park is just off the St. John’s Wood tube stop. In the center is a larger hill. At the top are a few benches that provide a spectacular view of Central London. At night it is a far cry from what you experience while in the city itself. It’s quiet, fresh, and the skyline scales London to a realistic size—a great photo opportunity.
I recommend a full-day in the city first—shopping, sight-seeing, and dinning—and then a retreat to the hill. The perspectives of being in the city versus looking down upon it provides and interesting contrast for you to reflect on. Take your travel partner here for a night-time picnic or to share a bottle of wine after dinner in Central London.
